| The 2012 Culligan Doggie Extravaganza #3 August 30 |
|
WOW, 18 holes of fun at the 3rd Doggie Extravaganza at White Sands. Windy conditions were no match for the eight Slammers in the lineup, all shooting to make a doggie and/or a skin. Perfect time, right after work for a 5pm tee time to enjoy the extravaganza. We all enjoyed ourselves both on the course and at the 19th hole. When we made the turn we had to wait for 20 min and that put us behind. As a result we played the last hole in the dark. Too bad we did not have a photo master as there was a full moon over the 18th green trying to cast some light for us to play by. Thanks for coming out Slammers, and thanks to Mother for acting as Skin Master!
Only 17 doggies were taken (9 bones each)
- 5 won by Chill
- 5 won by Chef
- 2 won by BearCat
- 2 won by Bowler
- 2 won by ProZee
- 1 won by Irons
There were only 7 skins (5 bones each)
- Chill had 3 (with 2 birdies and 1 par)
- Irons had 2 (with 1 birdie and 1 par)
- Chef had 1 (with a birdie)
- Bowler had 1 (with a birdie)
Stars
- Chill take first star as she takes home 60 bones (5 dogs and 3 skins) and wins a Bud Light jacket.
- Chef has to settle for second star for his 50-bone performance (5 dog and 1 skin) . He takes home a Bud Light golf cap and a bag of tees.

| The Slammer Tour Doggie Extravaganza #3 September 1, 2011 |
| Another successful and fantastic Doggie Extravaganza event was held on the evening of Sept 1st at White Sands. This was the third event this year but it was the first time we played 18 holes. 8 Slammers were registered but due to the forgetfulness of DJD45, only seven Slammers enjoyed the festivities of the event. Since we played the same nine holes twice, the second time around the dogs were won with closer shots. This is a great event to work on your iron play! White Sands has to be the best nine-hole course in the city. With the great hospitality at the Royal Oak after the golf, this is one Slammer that can’t wait to play in these events next year.

There were 4 skins: 3 by birdies (11 bones each)

The wind-up occurred at the The Royal Oak Orleans who provided outstanding service, cool beverages and great food. On top of that The Royal Oak provided each golfer with a Bud Light golf cap. So, for Doggie Extravaganza #2 we are expecting at least 24 Slammers to come out and play and then join us for grub at The Royal Oak, proud sponsor of Ottawa Sun Scramble Kick-Off Day.
