Notables

We had the course entirely to our Slammer Selves.
Despite possible cold rain and a low of 4 degrees, Grumpy and Stevie Ray showed up in shorts.
Welcome to Wally, playing in his first Slammer event, and congratulations to he and co-rookie Rexall who brought him out and probably chuckled all the way home.
Grumpy is the new D-Class champion and wins a Slammer Hat.
Honourable mention goes to the early season one of the most improved Slammers, FrenchHooligan, as he is 2-1, taking Rexall to the 18th.
Honourable mention to Kadaver who was 3-0, taking down Cuba, Malone and Chef,
Honourable mention to Grumpy who scores his lifetime best score. Look it up.
Thanks to Malone who stepped up and looked after The Tanco Doggie duties worth $20 each to Wally, Clang, Rexall and Chef.
Thanks to Grumpy who calculated the Evolution Physiotherapy Skins competition with Wally, OldSpice and Rexall winning $25 each.

Summary
Today was our first event at eQuinelle in 2012, and as in the past, the registration was full within 3 minutes. Despite changes in the weather forecast through the week from poor to dismal to great to comfortable to "it's Saturday so we golf no matter what", 16 Slammers took over this fine Kemptville facility and had a blast. Be on the lookout for the after event presentations on YouTube, using search word "Slammer Tour"

Stars
	Old Spice
	OldSpice came to play and was taking no prisoners as he went 3-0 in his matches with 2 birdies, one of which was good for a skin. He was well under his already low scoring average. He wins a large bucket of balls from Karters Korners Driving Range. Well earned.
	Rexall
	He is still a rookie although we know he has a strong game, which he exhibited today mercilessly defeating all 3 of his opponents, and winning a dog and a skin. He is brave enough to use the "shank" word, and that needs to be recognized as well.
	Wally (r)
	His very first Slammer round was memorable as he was undefeated, and had a skin and a dog. Several Slammers remarked that it was uncanny how he shot his scoring average! Grumpy reassured us that he has seen several Slammers do it in their first attempt. Wally, you fit right in !
