Summary
As we approach the end of September and get closer to that four letter word that begins with F....Fall....the events start earlier and unfortunately, less Slammers can take a holiday from work and come out to Slam. Today, seven Slammers made their way to Falcon Ridge for a high noon start which gave us plenty of time to make it around the course and finish before evening began. Always lots of fun with a small group and with seven Slammers, the event was official and lots of stats were up for grabs. Only ten days left to register for the EG Club Championships. Always a fun time and this year we travel South to Prescott, West to Perth and then finalize with the EG Wind-Up at the new Gatineau clubhouse.

Two days in a row this Slammer took first star honours. Davestator, or as we will now refer to him as "Killerator", did a fine job out there as he defends against Taz and records the upsets against Gator and IronMaiden. With 2 birds that both held up for skins....and 2 additional par skins, Davestator had his very own four skin day. Congrats! |

Supersy was the one to watch in his group as he went undefeated today with the defence win against Buiscuit O'Shumka and taking down Bookie to move 30+ spots closer to the top of the Slammer totem pole. With a bird that held up for the skin and a doggie on the tough #16, Supersy was super all around. Well done! |

Taz |
|
Taz was playing Falcon Ridge for the first time today and had no fear of Amen corner instilled in her yet....as she took driver out on #12, passed the fairway tree and parred 'er for the skin. She followed this up with a par skin on the next hole as well. Taz takes 4 points with the upset wins over Gator and IronMaiden ...and with this last win also advances to the next round of the Ladies TC semis. Nice! |
