Summary
Nineteen Slammers took the trip to Arnprior today to take on a relatively forgiving course, Mountain Creek. However, what seemed like 100mph winds playing havok with out shots throughout the day, easily removed that moniker. There were many great matches throughout the day as Slammers tried to qualify for the Brockville Challenge and the Commish Cup. Afterwards, the 19 hole just happened to have some cool, frosty beaverages for all, to go along with some great "Slammer Banter".

Do you all remember that "Smash Hit" by Duran Duran named "Rio". Well our first star today doesn't either. He wasn't born yet. Maybe he should take a look at IronMaiden's scrap book to see what all the hype was about. No need for the rest of us though, because this Rio is definitely a force to be reconned with and heading for the top of the charts. He continues his winning ways taking out a couple few "mediocre" players...Chef, KaDaver, and DeeJay. NOT! With a bird and a skin, he thrusts himself to the # 2 rank on the Slammer Tour. Look out Malone. |

Head out on the highway...Looking for adventure..I think I heard Shades singing this on the practice green, as he finally takes a break from cruising with his new Harley. Well he didn't miss a 'beat' today, on the course, that is. Shades goes 3-0 taking out the three P's, PokerFace, PizzaMan, and PJ. With a bird and a skin he is a simple choice for 2nd star. well done. |

Word has it that Grumpy has a new "doggie ball". He was out in our lead group today as our Skins Master, in the hopes of getting to "show it off", but we're gonna have to wait another day. No worries, because this Slammer blazes the trail and goes undefeated today, taking out BigGuy and Princess. This was Grumpy's 223rd win, 247th par, 287 bogie, 267th double bogie, just kidding...Great job, Grumpy! |
