CULLIGAN DOGGIES: #3 is always a bit of a challenge and today nobody even three putted to miss the doggie, which means nobody hit the green! chill then claimed the first two doggies on #7 (23ft) & #9 (7ft) and if not for the 3 putts from IronMaiden it would have been a Slammette doggie sweep...Clang takes home the doggie on #16 (36ft)
- SKINS: The Slammettes were again on the go in the skins game as Juice (chip in bird #6), IronMaiden (bird #8) and chill (trifecta bird #9) claimed the only skins on the front nine but Clang (bird #11) and PointZero (bird #13) stepped up for the guys to take one each on the back nine for a total of five skins at 18 bones a piece

Summary
Day two of this first week of play and five groups of enthusiastic Slammers headed West to Canadian where we finished off our season last fall...exactly five months and two days ago. And even though that was one long winter it already seems like a distant memory. Just takes one drive down a fairway to make the pain go away! The day started out a little chilly but five holes in the sun was out and we were down to only a layer or two. We are golfing again. Hallelujah!

First stardom is not a foreign thing for this cool Slammette and even though she was first star earlier this season south of the border it only took her two local events to claim this star here at home. With the pedal to the medal she went undefeated taking two points from IronMaiden and RoadWarrior but settled for the tie with Juice. Two doggies and a bird good for a skin topped off a great day. Congrats! |

Some interesting matches in this foursome that involved Dracula, Old Spice, Clang and our second star but when the dust settled PointZero was the top ranked in the group as he finished all square with Old Spice but recorded the upsets over Dracula and Clang. Five points, a bird and skin will be PZ's starting stats of the year. Nice! |

BearCat beat PizzaMan today. Need we say more? OK we will expand on this. BearCat was the only Slammer in the field who went 3-0 today for six points and was one up on PizzaMan going into the 18th...and it only took a bogey to finish off the job. BearCat also defended against Danger in their first meet up and the next time BearCat and Bubba meet they will be playing their rubber match. Well done! |
