  • We had no Sunshine on this cloudy day -- 23/24 Slammers made it to the tee.
  • We had two PZ's (Point Zero and ProZee).
  • Chef defends No. 1 (is he dodging tis OC!?!)
  • 5 par 3's and only 4 were hit (doh). Dogs go to Dr. Pepper, Smitty, Stevie Ray and Eeyore for 28 bones each
  • It was a fourskin day (IM is giggling). 2 for Blue and one each for Sunny and GoTee. Also 28 bones each
  • Honourable mention goes to Blue and Smitty. Both played great and were going to be stars, but I couldn't decide so I chose neither! Both had 2 wins and Blue had 2 skins and Smitty a dog.
  • Shorts did NOT wear shorts. Lost all his matches. Coincidence? Doubt it
  • Angry Bird seemed happy. Hmmm.
  • Biscuit Oshumba has a unique name. If you have a while, ask him about it :)
  • Only 5 birdies on the day. Might have been the punched, top-dressed and snowed-on greens. Or LOFT
  • We played a "modified shotgun". The modification was there was no shotgun. When the OC does this :) he is sending a smiley face to all of his pals :) Lucky is a man with a firm handshake: It is a fact!
  • Some Of These Guys Are Girls!
  • Juice left the 19th hole in a hurry with a bottle of dinner under her arm. No judging!

Summary
The Slammer Tour had a (snow) ball at the Royal And Ancient Pines. 11 holes of surprisingly sweet weather and 7 holes of neige. Visibility was sketchy for a while -- check out Point Zero pix on Facebook -- but we got er done. The November Run For No. 1 is alive and well.

We like his name. We like his accent. And we liked his game. Undefeated and shot below his scoring average on a tough scoring day. Bobo is part of a fine crop of rookies on the Tour.

Her again!?! OK, the girl went 3-0-0 with a bird and a dog. And she beat the pants off the boys. Again. :)

  • Best aspects of course: It was open! And they kept the restaurant and bar open for the Slammers. OC recommends the smoked meat panini, but he digresses. Cool aspect of the Pine course is very few leaf trees. Just needles. Leaf rule not necessary -- Snow squall rule however...
