Summary
It was a challenging day at Hautes Plaines. They recently punched the greens and they were really scruffy and bumpy. That is somewhat normal at this time of year as the courses prepare for next year. More annoying were the gnatty little fries dancing around our heads. I can't remember the last time I was praying for wind on a golf course. Pace was great as there weren't many people populating the course. All in all, not a bad fall golf experience.

Today's first star was a late registaration but an early riser as Iron Maiden laps the field taking down all three of her opponents. IM does this while draining two birdies, both holding up for skins (and a par skin) and a doggie. Clearly the bones winner on the day! Great job! |

Today's second star comes out and joins the Slammer Tour and goes undefeated with a Doggie. A friend of Supersy, D-Rak hopefully will become a regular on the Slammer Tour. Welcome D-Rak! |

Today;s third star may not have had a stellar match play day but he did rack up some bones claiming two of the five skins on the day. Point Zero manages to edge out the competition for third star but when you walk away top three in bones, the match play doesn't quite matter as much in a small field. |
