- Commish Cup update … AngryBird beats BigGuy to become South2. Gongshow beat Cracker and moved into West9, Grumpy is Central4, DiddleDude is East5, and Chip-me-in is West8. The RedBlacks have five season ticket holders that have to make decisions. “Who needs a pair?”
- Quick Snaps once again had no bones for Prescott 17 (NOT the first time this season)
- Broker4Tickets gave more bones to Make-A-Wish then to any of the skins winners (except chip-me-in, who had to win six). The Kidz got nine bones and each of the skins winners won a mere skinny toonie.
- DiddleDude – the latest addicted rookie, promising to shatter many records. The biggest thing that battles those addicted (well maybe second) is INJURY. Here’s hoping that you are not on the shelf long. More medicinal?

Summary
We remember Jimmy ‘Vegas” Strader, a long time organizing member at Prescott Golf Club. He was often seen at the course either right before us or immediately afterwards. He was such a ‘Slammer’ but I failed to recruit him. We chatted often. RIP Vegas, who passed ten days ago. Thursday July 6th, the PGC will have a celebration of life for Jimmy. All are welcome! Janet was missing and Les “you are no Janet!” Thank you Prescott, for providing such a facility, and our first star prize. I am offering a free round of golf to the weatherman. Come join us and we will talk your expertise for the 250 minutes during our round. You predict weather as well as I golf."

WHAT IS MATCH PLAY! Leaving a collie on hole four, a great dane on nine and a dachshund on thirteen. That’s right - first three par threes and he left his mark (won two of them) These were the first two of his season. He has never had multiple dogs, in fact has never had more than two doggies in a season. Six skins? There are very few to have ever done that, in fact McGoop has 412 career skins and has only beat it twice – and he was mentioned on this Kevin Haime (Slammer Haimo) show – listing great Ottawa golfers (celebrating Canada’s 150th). He chipped (or putt) past GongShow for the second straight time. It was great hearing the Show talk about Chippers game at the 19th (including a name change). Cracker was the other Slammer to fall to this star today in their inaugural event. The Prescott GC donated a brand new golf glove for this first star prize. He even had a milestone today with his tenth career dog. |

AngryBird, was deducted a point for his late arrival! The system awarded him the first star, but most of that was due to his three matches vs CmeI playing only two. One of Oiseau’s wins was after a DNF for the Dude. AB landed a Chihuahua to beat the collie mentioned above. One dog, one bird, one skin on one hole is what we call a trifecta. He added another couple of skins, two more victories, and a rise up the ladder of 59 steps on this most important Commish Cup qualifying weekend. |

is still typing ...Although we didn’t have a third star, I take this opportunity to mention a Mulderism. I played in an event where Mulder named four stars in a one foursome event. The star system awarded the OC as second star – no OC likes to do so! D3 became D1! |
