Summary
The Dfly double header started early as 11 slammers showed up for the 8am tee off. The course was watered. The rough was thick and lush. The fairways were in fantastic shape. The greens were pristine. The sun was shining all day. The staff was friendly and helpful as usual. The people up the valley in Renfrew are simply awesome. I even heard one slammer say "If Dfly was 20 minutes closer to his house he would be a member." I would have to agree!! This double header has to go down as one of the best weather days in a long time. Now time for a story.
My last trip up to DFly, I left my Bluetooth speaker in the cart. I called the next day and Sean answered the phone. I told him I little speaker on cart 33.
He says "it's not that small.". I laugh and ask him if he has it. He says "no I don't have your grey and orange UE speaker.". I laugh and thank him. He offers to have their club pro bring it back to Kanata next trip down. I told him I would be up in the area that weekend and would pick it up. He then asks if I want him to charge it up for me. Now THAT is Ottawa Valley Hospitality. Thanks go out to Bill and all the staff at DFly.
