Ease of getting a game Event details are sent out by email so all you have to do is respond, indicating that you want in, and groupings are then arranged by The Commish. Just show up and pay your green fees at the pro-shop: it's that simple!

Events are also posted and tracked here... but you have to be on the list to be an official Slammer.

Play with a competitive twist

All events are match-play format and played against the other three members in your foursome. Either challenge someone or wait to be challenged. Rankings are adjusted accordingly after each event. Click here for more info on how match-play works.

Improve your knowledge of the rules of golf

We all think we know the rules but The Slammer Tour lets you put that knowledge to the test by playing match play golf. Some rules are different in match play than in stroke play. You will be surprised at the new rules you learn when your match is on the line! We all learn from each other. Check out the rules page.

By playing competitively, and by the rules, you will get better. You will have the opportunity to play with better players which will incent you to actually spend quality time at the range. Since golf is not a game of perfect, you really should read THIS.

Prizes

Prizes are awarded periodically throughout the season and at the year end banquet. The 'Preston Cup' is awarded annually to the 'Slammer of the Year', voted on by fellow members. More prize info here.
