 Notables - Honourable mention goes out to the undefeated BackFlash, for going 3-0, having a bird on 18 for one of the three skins, and for moving up 112 spots in the rankings.
- Slammer rookie last year RudyBear recruits Snagglepuss, and together they bring the Irish whiskey to help us with the St Paddy's day celebrations. They also get honourable mentions.
- Last HM goes out to all people on the bus that participated in the think green theme. Rulz and Dyke for their hair, and the hats that Lucky Sowa provided.
- Happy birthday to a pair of our favourite Slammer twins {OK - they are 17 years apart}. Yes it is Wilford and Iron Maiden, joining the irish celebrations annually.

Summary
The Il Primo Ocean City get-away kicks off our 2011 Slammer Tour season. The first leg of our annual spring road trip, and we stop off in Allentown, Penn. Just before the border, we get a new driver and look who it is. It is Ray, the last driver to have Crenshaw on a road trip bus. Get to the course, which looked beautiful, but obviously too cold for our southern neighbours. However there was something familiar in the parking lot. Close your eyes, and envision a lime green slammer with Ian Poulter hair. TIS TRUE #1 was in the house.

We start the 2011 season off with movement at the top. Having a surprise visit from the defending Champ, and only one foursome had room for him. Smitty hosted the champ in his group then beat him on the 16th hole {it actually happened a hole later - as we played a shotgun}. His one birdie was cut off and 2011 sees Smitty as the number one. Many happy people on this Il Primo road trip, seeing as we have #1 here. |

Keep reading because this inaugural event has more top five juggling. Burnsy had come in as #2, but then went down to Hype's three birdies {of which only one held up for a skin} en route to the day's best round {3 over par 75}. This fantastic round was even better then it sounds until some guy erroneously hit Hype's ball on his last hole (Hype scores the only number on his card above a 5}. We are still looking for the guy. This Carleton member, playing in his first game since Sun Apr 4, 2010, shot 8 strokes better than his previous Slammer best. |

Malone also beat the previous #2 (thus closing the gap in their head-to-head matches 3-4), and ends the day as #4. On the way he collected 56 bones to be the top winner of the day. He birdied 5 for a skin and also 17 which was cut-off. His dog was on #16. Thank you for the great job that you are doing. |
