We woke up Thursday morning and Ticklar was #1. We woke up Friday morning and Smitty was #1. We woke up Saturday morning and Dyke was #1. We woke up Sunday and Rulz was #1. And when we woke up on the fifth straight day we had a new #1 – know who it is?
Man-o-War won 2/3 of the Triple Crown, 17 years before his son War Admiral accomplished the feat. Today's trivia question - what happened in the 1920 Kentucky Derby?
Some milestones that were accomplished on our spring Il Primo get-away are: On Saturday, against RipZone {17th hole} , Smitty notched his 300th career win. Malone had his 50th career dog on hole 5 Saturday.
Hacker - we thank you for all of the work you did as an 'overtime' doggie master. You go home with a dog in 100% {hmmm} of your events, and were undefeated after the first three days with an 8-0-1 record. Your victory over Pizzaman, stopped him from getting a milestone {next event?}.
Lucky Sowa - is really Lucky - see his score, but DONT PANIC.

Summary
Do you like Horse Racing? Know anything about the Triple Crown? Ever hear of Man-o-War, or (his son) War Admiral. I know that you have at least heard of Seabiscuit (another son). Well today we are playing at their old stomping grounds. Yes, Glen Riddle Golf Club was named after the farm that these first two lived at. The farm was home to Hall of Fame racehorses Man o' War & U.S. Triple Crown winner War Admiral. While inside the 19th we had many opportunities to read about these studs. Glen Riddle Farm was a large horse farm in Berlin, Maryland in the United States. Located on what today is Route 50 between Ocean City and Berlin, it was owned by a wealthy textile businessman Samuel D. Riddle who named it for his home town Glen Riddle, Pennsylvania which in turn had been named for his grandfather. In addition to the stables and large mansion, Glen Riddle Farm had a one-mile racing oval for training thoroughbred racehorses.

	Malone
	Our own golfing stud was Malone. He beat Rulz to be the #1 at the end of the road trip. This enables him to wake up a few mornings in a row as that top ranked Slammer. An accomplishment that wasnt to be had the last 4 days. Man-o-War's career was 20-1 and our stallion {congratulations Lindsay} went 10-1-1, if he goes 3-0 the next three events they will have similar records. However you DO have that target on your back.
	Burnsy
	War Admiral 's career was 21-3-1. Burnsy {past Carleton member} is at 41-5-6 career and they are very similar {86/88%}. Having only one loss in his first two seasons, and not the greatest start to this season, he goes 3-0 today, including a win over Hype {current Carleton member} to even their weekend at 2-2. Burnsy was the only one to birdie 14 today, for a skin. This was his 6th birdie of the weekend and finds him heading north two behind the leader in the Canadian Golf Club Birdie race.
	Smitty
	Which horse will I compare Smitty to? You guessed it Seabiscuit. They have connections. I know that Seabiscuit's trainer was Tom Smith {an old western cowboy who knew how to communicate with horses like no other}. I have my research team checking the Smith's lineage. The horses' 33-15-13{65%} record is pretty close to Smitty's 87-39-11{69%} which is what he ended last year with. This season his 11-1 record is alone in first place.
