Summary
Weee'rrree Baaackkk! That's right Slammers; the 2013 indoor Slammer season began last night at Golf-O-Max on Baxter Road. Our first Slammer Rulz (1) as well as G-Baby, the 1123rd Slammer to swing 'em on the Slammer Tour, came out last night to give the screens a thump. The weather outside was frightful, but the screens (cool beverages, snacks and company) were so delightful. Hope Slammers and their loved ones have a safe and happy holiday season, and come out to give the Indoor Slammer Tour a try in the new year.

Boomer came out on fire. After only sparse appearances this summer, this, rare bird made his presence felt. Boomer walked away with 3 no-putt birdies, 2 of which held up for skins. His 11 pars and 3 birdies made it difficult for Shorts, Clang and PizzaMan to gain any ground througout the night. Boomers 3-0 performance vaulted him to #3 in the Indoor Slammer Ranks. Awesome! |

2 Time Preston Cupper, IronMaiden started the season in fine form. Like Boomer, her 13 pars and 2 birdies had her opponents begging for mercy as Biscuit Oshumka and Pepilepu bowed out early. The Doggie Queen had a good ball down until it was cut off late, however one of her birdies did hold up for the skin. Look out white tees! |

This group, the Commish, Malone, McGoop, and G-Baby, were all in the Christmas Spirit(s). The screen was not kind to some of them, however Malone figured things out soon enough and walked away with a perfect record. ...And I heard them excaim as he rode out of site, "I want a rematch!" Nice job Malone! |
