Unofficial SKINS: Lucky tallies 3 on holes #3, #9 & #18, Stevie Ray chalks up a couple on holes #5 & #15 and Bells closes it out with 2 of his own on holes #14 & #17. Each skin was worth $2.50 with $2.50 going to the kids.

DOGGIES: Only four of a possible five doggies get claimed today. Hole #4 goes unclaimed despite three Slammers hitting the green - the kids say thank-you! Ace claims hole #7 (45ft), Lucky takes #12 (32ft), Stevie Ray grabs #15 (30ft) and Bells owns #17 (4ft). Each doggie was worth five big ones - or a return of contributions.

Summary
The sun played hide and seek with the clouds for most of the day and with it the temperature seemed to rise and fall. It didn't rain, it didn't snow and except for a few holes on the back nine the wind was pretty much held at bay. All in all not a bad Oct day to be out on the golf course. The four hearty Slammers who gave it a go all agreed that it was a good outing. Time for everyone to shake off the summer wish for warm weather, dress a little warmer and play some golf.

Can you say it was a Stevie Ray day today eh? Stevie certainly can. He not only outshines the field but he gets Lucky, holds an Ace up his sleeve and rings everyone's Bells. Going 3-0, taking a doggie and two (unofficial) skins he is the class of a small but challenging field today. |
