Summary
We know the first day of summer doesn’t arrive until June 21st the same day as Fathers Day this year but it felt like mid summer today. The weather was perfect, the course conditions in mint summer state, the Slammers enjoying these outstanding conditions and the match play event enjoyed by all. Today was the day of successful defences as only one third of all matches were upsets. Great patio conditions made way for an enjoyable 19th hole where nobody missed a putt. Thanks to my fellow Slammers for a great event!

The 1st star is the Slammers' favourite "from away Slammer". Yes, he is the Spud from the bright red mud and wow did he play well today. At the start of the round, he had the highest scoring median of his foursome but the highest rank on the Slammer ladder and he did successfully defend against Gru, Pipeline and Wally taking home 5 points. He wins his TC Seniors match, has a birdie and a doggie. Well done, Spud! You may be "from away" when you go to PEI but you know you are at home on the Slammer Tour! |
