 Notables - Mulder phoned in sick! So we called in another OC for the day. The new OC didn't bring the good weather to start, but then it all got better and we had some great fall golf.
- Speaking about fall - Autumn was our server today and she did a great job.
- QuickSnap only had to pay out four of the six dogs today. Both #8 and #16 were missed.
- Broker4Tickets showed up and awarded six skins - ONE for a bogey on twelve - talk about a Gong Show.
- There were no TC matches, nor hole in ones, nor toilet paper awarded and the only Slammer to go home without any points - did bring some bones home. ALL WINNERS!
- The only birdie today was on hole four. Not so great - Some of us remember that Kricket once had a ONE on the hole, so today's TWO? Also for Kricket on par threes - he should have played poker instead - he had a straight. Six par threes and he had a 2-3-4-5-6
- FINAL NOTABLE - when you replace the OC remember to award the stars at the event. The rookie that we got to fill in for Mulder forgot to do so. Mea Culpe!

Summary
Thunderbolt and Lightning – very very frightening! There was no Galileo, nor was Figaro there. The lightning stopped, those that are uncomfortable (not a laughing matter – it is my experience, that those who fear it have valid reasons), with it, gave their Ok and GongShow was first to tee off. So we were about five minutes late for the scheduled tee off. All were dressed in their rain gear, the umbrellas were opened and the rain gloves were on. Teeing off on two, and the clothes were starting to be removed. Another great day at Lombard. Instructions were given on LC&P (cheat). OC asked all to not use the LC&P BUT if one did have a mud ball on their own fairway – go ahead. It was never used in the second group today. Dave Sherman promised me that there were plenty of birdies out there for us! But we only had one and it was eaten up by a Kricket.
