Top-5 2004 Notables

  1. Ruskie breaks 100!! In true Ruskie form, he takes a Slammer Max on 18 at the Canadian for a 99! Since then, 99 at Chateau Cartier and 97 at Cloverdale.

  2. HotDog's unbeaten streak - comes back from 4 down after 11 to get the draw with Ripzone on 18 at Renfrew, keeping his unbeaten streak alive 13-0-2 (draws Gadget Upper Canada, Ripzone Renfrew) last man to take down HotDog. Ripzone Jenkins at Stonebridge, June 21, 2003, 20-0-2. 22 matches in a row without a loss

  3. 10th hole Renfrew ... Tickler lips out on his chip for bird, Rulz then blades his chip and cans it for bird, then Chilly cans his chip for bird .... and then HotDog makes his 8-footer for bird - 3 birds

  4. BackFlash gets the Tour's second EAGLE of the season by hitting his drive 300 yards and then putting a 6 iron 10 inches from the hole on #18. Maybe we need a new category for albatrosses...

  5. Ripzone birdies #12 at Loch March (hardest hole on the course) ... driver, driver, putt.

Go Back

Saturday, November 27th

Thanks everyone for coming out. We think you'll agree that the banquet was a total blast! Its been another great year for the Tour with lots of great competition and oodles of fun.

We have and continue to grow a little bit each year, and once again we have reached new highs for total rounds played (445), which is up almost 40% from 2003; another new high with 28 Slammers playing more than 5 events, and a total of 80 altogether who came out at least once. We now have an official line of SlammerGear (thanks to Dyke for purchasing the Ryder Cup shirts), we have nicely faded caps, long sleeve tees and now toques!

Make A Wish Foundation

$399 plus $150 from the 50-50 draw and another $50 donated by "The Don" after winning the 50-50 for a grand total of $599!! Our highest contribution ever!
