Summary
It was hot and humid as the Slammer Tour returns to Hammond for the 1st time this year. The prolonged heat wave has made the grounds keeper keep greens longer than usual and watering has made the rough thicker and deeper than usual which made for some challenging golf. The course should be in excellent condition for the Sun Scramble C Class event. Some great matches and great golf played in the heat and without the benefit of a cart girl. Several newbees to the course remarked about several of the picturesque holes particularly from the elevated tees. Some great Slammer Tour golf on a Friday afternoon capped off by the well deserved benefits of the 19th hole!
