HM: Monty goes undefeated with 1 bird and 1 skin
HM: Smitty goes 3-0 for 6 points
DOGGIES: 4 doggie holes but only 3 were claimed with 1 each to The Game & Pinseeker with Shades & Ruskie sharing the last dog of the day on #16 @ 30 bones ea
SKINS: A total of 7 skins with 2 going to The Game (birds on #2 & #18) and 1 each to Shades (par #5), PinSeeker (bird #8), Pizzaman (bird #9), Monty (bird #10)& with Pommie NOT entering the skins today did not cut off Blue for the (par) skin on #14....todays skins were @ 12 bones ea

Summary
It was a pleasant and relatively warm early spring day that greeted the Slammers at Mountain Creek for a noon start, but 5 holes in some strong winds warned of impending weather....two holes later and for the balance of the round, very hard and cold rain soaked the course and the Slammers to the bone. We all expected some light rains as predicted by the weatherman but not many were prepared for what was dealt to us and what we endured for most of the day. Some of these Slammers still had a great time puddle jumping though....as some excellent and notable scores were recorded along with some great matches....including none other than our new #1! Steamer becomes the 7th Slammer to take the #1 spot in the Slammer ranks.....and we are only 9 events into this 2011 season. It's going to be a great, great year!

	The Game
	The Game's stature must have boosted him into a different part of the atmostphere as he seemingly had no problems with todays conditions! Our first star had a fantastic day on the course going 3-0 with defence wins over Sutty and Pommie and with the upset win against Wilford. With 2 birds that transformed into 2 skins, The Game rakes it in topping it off with a doggie and shooting 6 strokes below his average. Nicely done!
	Steamer
	Steamer's naval experience certainly helped him navigate the course today and he had his charts drawn up for the task....Pizzaman was his target and the top of the Slammer ranks was his destination. Going undefeated and adding 6 points to his stats, Steamer is our new #1 with the upset win over Pizzaman and defending against Blue and IronMaiden. Congrats!
	Shades
	Shades records a sub 80 round and goes undefeated with defence wins against Ruskie and PinSeeker. Shades adds 4 points, 1 skin and half a doggie to his stats....has anyone noticed that this Slammer wears his sunglasses in ALL conditions! Nice!
