Summary
At 11:17am on Saturday March 17th., 2012 Cuba stepped up and drove a picture perfect ball down fairway #1 at Prescott GC....kicking off the official start to the 2012 Slammer Tour season. It was a beautiful thing. The sun was out and the temps were in the mid teens with only a mild breeze to remind us to look up and appreciate the views of the St Lawrence seaway below. Even though we had what was considered a brief and relatively mild winter, the anticipation of seeing that first drive leave our clubs was almost unbearable. And it was St Patricks Day so there was little thought involved as we dressed for the day as to what color we would be wearing to the course. Green Slammer gear was a plenty. 	ZenGirl
	A fantastic start to the season for this Slammerette as she goes undefeated and defends her rank against IronMaiden & Grumpy. ZenGirl had that pot of gold in her sights all day as she shot the lights out on the par 3's taking 2 doggies and nearly dropping one straight into the cup on hole #4....leaving a crater of a ball mark on the right edge of the cup that needed some serious repair. Add to this that she made it around the course shooting 7 strokes lower than her average.....Stellar!
	Sunny
	Sunny was golden as he also makes his 2012 debut in fine form. Sunny goes 3-0 with the defence wins against RipZone and Cuba and with the upset win against Popeye moves himself up the Slammer ranks and into the top 20. With 1 bird good for a skin and 6 points....Sunny has a good start in the stats. Congrats!
	Akeem
	Akeem kept his swing by playing all winter on the sims and it all payed off as he was ready to take on the real world going 3-0 with upset wins over Stevie Ray, Billiards and Bubba65 and moving up over 100 spots in the Slammer ranks. Add to this 2 birds good for 2 skins....Well done!
