Summary
The Marshes is a course that the Slammers usually flock to, but as the weather forecast refused to upgrade, numbers dwindled. Thankfully, Chill and Boomer hopped on board this Easter weekend to make the first event at the Marshes official. Though the course was not officially open, conditions were quite favourable; well, except for the 40 km winds, driving rain, and less than ideal temperatures. It takes a lot more than that to stop the Slammer Tour, and with a record 16 events and 205 rounds of golf in the books this early in the spring, it looks promising for a stellar season on the Slammer Tour.

WeeWillie continues his fine play for the second day in a row. He once again goes undefeated with upset wins over Boomer and TheGame. WeeWillie pots 2 birds, earns 3 skins and gets a dog to top it off. Nice day at the Marshes. |

This Slammer continues to pad her stats early in this 2012 season. She takes out Bookie, earns a tie with Chill, and finally takes down PizzaMan, after 3 attempts. She smacks a couple of Dogs (One of them to 28 inches which she also birdied) and widens the gap up the Bud Light Points Leader Board with 50 points. Awesome! |

This rookie seems to have caught the Slammer Bug like the rest of us. Chill participated in her third event today. Each time she has come out, the weather has been worse than her previous outing. That didn't seem to slow her down too much as she defeated Bookie and tied IM and PM. She earned two skins along the way, one with a bogey on the infamous #2. Well done Chill. |
