Summary
The days are getting longer and Tuesday events can now begin later in the day....and eleven Slammers were able to break away for some slammin' fun at Stonebridge. This was our first 2012 visit to this popular Tuesday venue and they were all set up and ready to receive us in the clubhouse after our round offering a full menu and lots of options on tap. The afternoon temps just reached the double digits but that wind that has been so present at most of our spring events took it back down to 5 or 6 degrees making for another cool day out there. It may only be the second week of April, but there are some Slammers who are already hitting their first peak of the season....Congrats to our first star Stevie Ray on his first rate performance!

StevieRay was solid throughout the day and makes this first star pick an easy one! Going undefeated with the upset win over IronMaiden and defending against Bookie, StevieRay records 2 birds, takes 3 skins and one of his doggie balls survives the field to clench a doggie stat. You might want to check out the total of his strokes through 18 holes as well. Congrats HSR! |

WeeWillie was our last sign up today and he came in and defended against TJ, Grumpy and Pommie. With 2 birds good for 1 skin, WeeWillie also earns some bones with a doggie. Nice! |

Woodsy also comes to the course prepared to defend and he succeeds with the defence wins over Lefty and Chadderbox and holds on to his #1 position in the Slammer ranks as the match with CLang ends in a draw. Woodsy adds 5 points, 3 birds, 1 skin and a doggie to his stats. Well done! |
