- NOTABLE: Hole #11 was playing a tad bit short today....with the tee boxes moved up to 230 yards off the green for the men and 200 yards off the green for the ladies, DJD and IronMaiden drive the green and have a shot at eagle....both 2 putt
- NOTABLE: The pro shop announced the first Slammer Tour group to the tee 15 mins ahead of schedule today...and with a packed course there were no options available to wait for late arrivers...luckily everyone was there but it's a good reminder to always be a half hour early for your tee time
- DOGGIES: 5 doggie holes but that tough #10 eluded us today...leaving 4 doggies with 1 each to DJD, PizzaMan, Crenshaw & IronMaiden @ 15 bones ea
- SKINS: A total of 6 skins ( 3 on the front, 3 on the back) with 2 going to IronMaiden (birds #14, #18) and 1 each to PizzaMan (par #4), Ricko (bird #6), Crenshaw (bird #9) and DJD (bird #17) @ 9 bones a piece

Summary
Buckingham is always a great venue with it's picturesque views, rolling fairways and interesting greens...and they have just completed a full renovation and expansion of the main clubhouse. From the elevated 18th tee box you get a panoramic view of the Papineau valley and they must have the blowers in the kitchen pointed in that direction as you can't help anticipate your after round meal as you make your way down the fairway. It was early evening when we finished our rounds today and the sun wasn't doing such a great job keeping us warm anymore.....but the outside veranda overlooking the 18th green was where we finalized our day. It has to be rated amongst the best on the Slammer Tour circuit and we just couldn't bring ourselves to go inside...no matter how much warmer it would have been! A great day all around at a great course!

Crenshaw was a Supa Star today as he defended his #3 rank against Cuba, DJD and Ricko. Crenshaw adds 6 points to his stats and gets the trifecta on the tough #9 par 3... 1 bird, 1 skin and the doggie. Fantastique monsieur! |

IronMaiden also has a great day out there defending against Chill and SlapShot and records the only upset of the day taking Snake's ranking. IronMaiden records 3 birds good for 2 skins and tops off the day with a downhill doggie on #14. |

PizzaMan proved he was up for the defence challenge and denies the upset to WeeWillie, HighFive and Pommie. No birdies in the pan for this Slammer, but he still managed a skin by paring a hole nobody else could and dropped a slice on the 5th green for the doggie. Well done! |
