POP: All groups stayed within a half a hole of each other. Held up by slower public group in front of us.
RULES REMINDER: Before lifting the ball for identification, you must announce your intention to your opponent in match play. You must mark the position of the ball and you may then lift the ball and identify it, provided that you give your opponent, an opportunity to observe the lifting and the subsequent replacement. 1 stroke penalty for breach of procedure.
EVOLUTION PHYSIO SKINS: Yes sirree, mam, it was a four skin day. Skins were worth 15 bones each and were won with birdies. Skin winners were Stevie Ray, Hitch, Pouf and Bubba. Congrats!!
DOGGIES: 4 puppies taken home today each worth 15 bones. Winners were BigTee on #3 @ 19 ft, KidsClub on #8 @ 12 ft, Swanny on #13 @ 20 ft and Deter on 16 @ 3 ft. Nicccccce!!
NOTABLE: This was the Slammers' 13th event @ eQuinelle this year second only to Casselview @ 19. Slammers love eQuinelle!!

Summary
For this first week of fall, today was a spectacular autumn day for golf at the Slammers' favourite course. It was sunny and warm like summer when the Slammers arrived and the course conditions were outstanding. Start times were pushed back by almost 1/2 hour due to a morning frost delay. Definitely, it is fall. Slammers tend to score well at this course and 9 of the 12 Slammers scored in the 80s. But of course stroke play scores do not matter since we are playing in match play where anything can happen hole by hole. We enjoyed this spectacular day on the links Slamming the 18 holes. And we enjoyed the patio as we went through the beer and relaxation; the dogs, skins and star reports; and more beer. And with these outstanding conditions, it seems like we are enjoying an endless summer. A nice way to finish off a gorgeous fall day and a Slammer event.

Stars
	Irons (r)
	The 1st star, Irons, played those clubs oh so well today. He goes 3-0-0 taking out 2 B players, TJ and Swanny, and also Anguel. He has a birdie and jumps into the B class. This rookie has had a nice progression in Slammer match play starting off in the C class at the front end of the season and playing his way into the B class. Congratulations!!
	Hitch (r)
	Hitch, the 2nd star, also goes undefeated as he has match play wins over PointZero, Pouf and BigTee closing all of them out on 17. He has 2 birdies and takes home a skin. Nice round at eQuinelle. Outstanding!!
	Bubba
	After a hiatus, Bubba returns and takes home 3rd star honours. He goes 2-1-0 with wins over KidsClub and Deter. He has 2 birds and takes a skin. He shoots his 2nd best Slammer career round today. Excellent!!
