EAGLE ALERT: KaDaver records a three on the #11 par 5 chipping in from the greenside bunker - Nice!
DOGGIES were tight today as the Slammers tried to avoid the potential of three putting the punched greens - Dracula took home, count 'em, two, TWO doggies with KaDaver and Sunny (#16, 18 inches) taking home one each @ 25 bones a piece
Five skins with not a lot of sharing as first and second stars KaDaver and Woodsy took home two each and one for Fodder @ 20 bones each

Summary
Some of these guys were truely good today and under some tough and trying course conditions....well, for some of us that is. eQuinelle hosted the Ladies and Juniors only a week ago for round one of the Ottawa Sun Scramble but shortly after we left eQuinelle went through another maintenance session of it's greens and fairways. The heat spell we endured last week mellowed into a perfect sunny day today with temps in the low twenties and five groups of Slammers came down the 416 to enjoy an early start to the weekend. We finalized our day on the patio and the glowing red sky told us the weatherman would probably be correct in his forecast of a perfect weekend to follow. And we will welcome a new course to the Slammer family tomorrow...look for a full report about our Saturday double header at Crooked Creek.

	KaDaver
	KaDaver was one tough dead guy to beat today and offered some stiff competition as he defended against Sunny and Old Spice and took the Toot right out of Popeye. The tally includes six points, three birds, two skins, one doggie and an eagle. That's some menagerie! Congrats!
	Woodsy
	eQually impressive and worthy of stardome, Woodsy records birdies on one third of the holes today which netted him a pair of skins as he defended his #2 position on the Slammer totem pole against Ozone, Dracula and Fodder. Stellar!
	The Game
	The Game started out his day ranked 71 and flipped those numbers just like magic into the number 17 (which coincidentaly is his shoe size) as he records the upset wins against PizzaMan, IronMaiden and GoTee. The Game started out his day with a bird on the tough #1 and added two other birds throughout a super solid round at eQuinelle today. Well done!
