- SKINS: Lots of birds (22 to be exact) with lots of cutoffs but six held up for the skin with three for Bugsy and one each to Ticklar, Chubs and Vinnie at 15 bones a piece

Summary
You know spring has sprung and summer is close at hand when 3pm Slammer events start to appear on the schedule. And as in years past, Stonebridge continues to be a popular Tuesday venue with 6 groups of Slammers meeting under a sunny sky with temps in the upper teens. It was a long winter but the summer solstice is only five weeks away and we will be in prime "sunlight" position now through the next 10 weeks. So let's make hay while the Sun shines!

Even though it's hard for such a cool guy to winter in warm golfable climates he still returns to the North each spring to the Slammer Tour to spend the other three seasons with us. He stepped up the the first tee at Stonebridge today with the goal of defending his ranks against Woodsy, Sun Scramble partner Ticklar and Vinnie and defend he did taking six points with two birds on his scorecard and bones from two doggies in his pocket. Congrats! |

Chubs brought his mini-me F6Noob to the event for a little father son battle and through eighteen holes they could not settle the match so watch for the next pairing between these two. Chubs takes 1 point from F6Noob but not his rank and settles for chill's rank with the upset win and defends against Raker. Chubs birdies #4 ( along with three other Slammers today) but his deuce on #7 holds up for the skin. Well done! |

Bugsy is a rookie on a mission! Perhaps an early nomination in the Ottawa Sun rookie of the year category? Bugsy records the upset win over Burnsy and moves into the top 5 of the Slammer ranks and holds off Malone for the draw. With four birds he had a good chance to take a skin or two....or THREE ! That's right, three out of four birds yielded a stat and a good chunk of the skins pot. Nice! |
