Culligan Water Doggie Report - Five par 3's today with only four hit. Only three Doggies though. We had a three putt on #11, right Stevie? Summary
It was a blistery day today at Stonebridge. The wind was up creating a bit of a chill but the rain stayed away. We had some excitement on the 10th tee when a car rolled over onto the grass near the tunnel leading to the 1st tee. The Marshall reported the driver walked away unscathed. Phew. Usually it is just T-Bone's game that crashes at the turn! The excitement didn't affect Stevie ray as he was first to tee off after all the excitement and proceeded to stripe one right down the middle. He followed that up with the quote, "I hit my best shots after car crashes." No need to say more...

Today's first star may be new to the tour but is far from new to the stars. This is his 6th Slammer Tour event and he has finished in the stars each time. Today, Rocco managed to go undefeated with wins against Ace on the 14th hole, Stevie Ray on the 18th hole and finished all square with T-Bone for a cool 5 points. He managed two birdies, two skins, and one Doggie along the way collecting an additional $21 for his troubles. Well done Rocco. |

Today's 3rd star was solid going 2-1 with wins against Ace on the 13th hole and T-Bone on the 18th hole. He dropped his match to Rocco on the 18th hole but clearly kept it close. Stevie Ray picks up another Doggie to get him to 2nd place in the Doggie standings. Oh, and he also had two skins and kept his undefeated streak against T-Bone alive. |
