Summary
Most of the Slammers appreciated the 8:00 am tee-off benefitting from the coolness of an early morning start. With the increasing popularity of the Commish Cup and this the last weekend to qualify for a team, 17 of the 20 Slammers came out Slamming to try to solidify their position on their respective Commish Cup team, or to try to keep their spot or to try to make one of the 10 spots on their team. Course conditions were great today and should be great next week for the Cup competition. Lots of interesting matches with half of them ending in upsets and lots of movement in the rankings within Cup teams. One week from today, the Teams will meet at Casselview to duke it out for the Commish Cup. Thanks Slammer for the great event today and good luck to all the participants next week.

When all the pieces of your golf game click, the game can be magical. And this describes Flyer the first star today. Flyer goes 3-0-0 taking out Vinnie, Bubba and Chuckie in magical fashion. This C player shines today as he registers 3 wins, a birdie, a dog, an "A" score and his best round in his rookie season. Magical!
Bagger
Bagger, a veteran Slammer, successfully defends against all comers and takes out DeeJay, Ritchie and XTour all on the 17th or 18th hole. Not only does he win all of his matches, he has 3 birds all good for 3 skins. Bagger also graciously volunteers at the first tee to be our Skin Master. Congratulations!
Blue
Blue, the thirds star, reminded everyone to wear red today. Must have been a distraction as he wins all his match against GoTee, Wally and Intruder. He has a bird but jumps into the top 20 earning him a solid spot on Team West. Excellent!
