 Notables - POP: Excellent pace of play with the first three groups clocking 4 hrs to 4hrs 10min
- TC "B" Match update: PizzaMan takes the win against ShortStack to advance to the third round
- DOGGIES: Two of the four greens remained bare and open for the fourth group and they made the most of it with ShortStack taking the first dog (#4, far) and PizzaMan taking the last dog (#16, 6ft). In between McGoop took #8 doggie (5ft) and Boomer tucked one in close on #13 (15ft) - Doggies were 20 bones a piece
- SKINS: A total of seven skins with three going to McGoop (birds #8, #15, #17) and one each to Intruder (bird #1), Rulz (bird #3), Woodsy (bird #6) and Swanny (bird #14) @ 10 bones each
- NOTABLE: IronMaiden records the only par of the day on the tough 9th hole par 5 (but was not in on skins)

Summary
A few hours before tee time we were advised that the course was so wet that carts were pulled and would not be available for the event. An email was sent out to all participants and all but two Slammers stayed in the event with these two spots filling up quickly as Malone advised of the availability. Kanata Lakes is a welcome venue and the Slammers were treated not once but twice this week to it's excellent course conditions and fantastic 19th hole patio. Livin' the country club life on the Slammer Tour. Doesn't get any better than this.

McGoop |

McGoop is apparently a rookie but somehow just keeps coming out and kickin' some serious butt. A fast learner indeed! He claims six points with his defence win against Banzai and climbs over Albatross and Swanny to sit a little higher in the Slammer ranks but still gives himself some room to challenge up 43 spots on the totem pole. With four birds he claims three skins and continues his domination of the skins leaderboard. Congrats! |

Intruder gave his Captain the heads up that he wanted to secure his spot on Team South's Commish's Cup roster and from the first hole he was on a mission to do just that, chipping in from the rough for the bird that held up for the skin. Defending against Boomer and IronMaiden was not much of a struggle and he secures that lofty top 10 position closing out Compressor a few holes later. You will look marrrrrvelous in green! Well done! |

Rulz is always a welcome sight on this wonderful match play Tour that he founded a dozen years ago...but not so welcome in his foursome as he shows 'em just who's "boss"! Defending against Ace and buddy Dyke and claiming Brewcee's top five rank on the 18th green gives our Commish a great push to the top of his Team Central's roster. One birdie was all he needed to take one share of the skins pot. Nice! |
