Summary
Two years ago we were preparing our bags for the first outdoor Slammer event of the season at Prescott on St Patrick's Day...tonight we drove to the course, our indoor Slammer home at Golf O Max, in sub zero temps and snow lined roadways. But our three groups had some interesting matches and lots of talk about the Myrtle trip that just passed, the anticipation for the upcoming season, Bingo in a month, the Opener at the Marshes, Commish's Cup, Intersectionals, Tour Championships, The Ottawa Sun Scramble, Club Championships, Smugglers! So much to look forward to and it has yet to begin. Congrats to McGoop, our 2013/2014 iTC Champ and thanks to all for coming out this indoor season. Bring on 2014!

This Slammer is always so cool and collected....and collect$ is the name of the game tonight as he takes home three doggies, records five birdies and claims two skins that equaled two trifectas! Smitty has only graced us with his presence twice this indoor season but he made his mark when it counted the most going 3-0 with upsets over The Game, Clang and PizzaMan who was the #1 indoor leader until the 15th hole tonight....Smitty gets 'er done and finishes off the season as the indoor leader. Congrats and see you next December for the defence match! |

McGoop has been stellar during his entire rookie season and after last night he is officially a rookie no more! Two of his four birds hold up for the skin and a tight dog on the 17th make for a pretty good night...but the big story is the final iTC match - Malone vs McGoop! Malone came out with all cylinders firing as he records four birdies in the first five holes but McGoop answers back and the match is decided on the 17th hole. McGoop is our 2013-2014 iTC Champ! Well done! |
