Summary
Well, the forecast seemed grim with rain each hour and some lightening bolts in the picture but Mother Nature was fair to the Slammers and allowed 14 or so holes without any rain at all. Stonebridge drains well for the most part so conditions were also more than fair given the 25+ mm of rain that did come down today before and in the later part of our day. The rain was so heavy that ten or so courses were not open the next day so they could recover from the storms. The dark clouds and lightening flashes did appear late in the round and a number of players decided to call it a day and walked in to safety. A reminder that it is up to each individual to make the call with regards to their own safety on the course during a storm. Nobody can tell you to stay out on the course and nobody can tell you it's time to leave. It is up to you to make that call for yourself. In the end safety comes first, not the match, not the 5 bones on the line, nothing except what you think is best for you.

	F6Noob was seeing green as he stepped on the first tee today to take on the current #1 Pouf. But it wasn't jealousy...yes he wanted this top rank but it was so he could be top dog on the list of qualifyers for Team South ! This was accomplished by the 16th hole as this win against Pouf not only gave him a birth in the top position of the Slammer ranks but a spot in the elite eight of the TC "A" division. Two birdies, a skin and a doggie sweetened an already swwwwweeet day. Congrats!
	Steel Crazy (r)
	Steel Crazy was of sane body and mind today as he successfully defends against Orange Crush and then moves up 20+ spots in the Slammer ranks with the upset wins against Stevie Ray and Giggity. One birdie good for the skin right off the first tee and a doggie on the always challenging #7 will be added to the stats for this rookie Slammer. Nice !
	Duker
	Another rookie making great strides out there, Duker defended his #6 rank against Juice, T-Bone and Vinnie by the 15th hole and circled two birdies on his card along the way. Well done and keep up the great play!
