NOTABLE: You had to wear sunscreen today as the temperature went to a high of 19 degrees. OMG it was so nice out there!!

NOTABLE: Of the 2 groups today, group 1 had no Doggie balls on the green and the 2nd group had a Doggie sweep!

NOTABLE: It was slower than expected today as public groups before the Slammers who taking advantage of the great weather, were slow causing lots of waiting!

CULLIGAN DOGGIES: The Slammers captured 4 of the 5 puppies today missing #14, the new par 3. Doggies were claimed by SniperDan (#3 @38' and #16 @21'), Goofy (#5 @ 16') and Dannat (#7 @24'). Each Doggie was worth 10 bones. Thats target golf with great iron play! Congrats!

DYNAMIC CHIRO & PHYSIO SKINS: 5 skins taken (3 with birdies and 2 with pars) worth 8 bones per with 2 won by Dannat, and singletons taken by IronMaiden, Wilford, and SniperDan. Excellent!!

Summary
What an absolutely gorgeous, warm, sunny, spring day to enjoy Slammer Tour match play golf. And a what a great mixed of Slammers with the field composed of 2 rookies (Shooter, SniperDan), 2 Slammers we haven't seen for a while (Wilford, Dannat), 2 Slammers with less than 10 events in (Snafu and Goofy) and 2 seasoned vets (Iron Maiden and KidsClub). And enjoy the day of golf we did. The course has dried nicely with only 2 fairways that had water on them. Greens are comely alone nicely and would delight the Slammers if they were cut for the 4th time. Today's event gave the Slammers the opportunity to experience a small event and learn all about the Slammer Tour. A great bunch of Slammers we have trying out the Tour and it was good to see some returning faces. Welcome to our Rookies and relatively new Slammers and welcome back to the experienced.

Dannat, our 1st star, was striking the ball well as he goes undefeated, taking down KidsClub, SniperDan and Goofy. He records 2 birdies, 1 dog and 2 skins. In addition, he registers a trifecta (bird, skin, dog) and almost has another. Great Slammin' with nice results. Outstanding!! |

Our second star, IronMaiden, shows us that she didn't hibernate this winter as she comes out in great physical form and is ready for the 2015 season as she is expected to play 100 plus Slammer events. She goes 3-0-0 successfully defending against Snafu, Wilford and Shooter. She has 2 birds and takes home a skin. She likes to push the boys around (LOL). Well done!! |

SniperDan, the 3rd star, has got game. In his first event in his rookie season he goes 2-1-0. And he earns 2 dogs and a skin with his ball striking. He shaking the rust off from a long winter but you can see that he has the golf swing of a solid B Slammer. Congrats!! |
