| The Mixed Tour Championship is a season-long match-play tournament and the format is identical to that of the other Tour Championships, other than the fact that it's reserved for male-female teams only, and, as a team event, it is "combined match-play" whereby both scores are added together and the lowest total wins the hole. The Championship begins in May and the initial field of players is cut in half, month-by-month, until only two teams remain - two who go on to play for the Championship.
