Summary
Well, everybody awoke and wondered "would we play today?" All areas of the city were being hit with various amounts of rain, thunder and lightning. Arrival time at Canadian happened on dry roads. That didn't last long. With the Slammers set to go at 1:06, the course officials scurried to collect all of the golfers off of the course. Their club championships ended up being called and rescheduled. But you know the Tour, if the course is open we are playing and 10 hearty souls embarked all adorned in their rainwear {somebody get JayBird some clothes!}

From Russia with love! Mrs Ruskie will be back soon and we will lose Ruskie, being able to play four times a week. To make us ready he joined late, went undefeated, had the only two birds of the day, both for skins, collected three dogs and a third skin for his par on 18. The Sun Scramble folks better be ready for him and partner Stevie Ray. Good luck on Wednesday at Le Sorcier. |

Slammers beware! This rookie is starting to get a feel for the Tour. Playing in his 9th event, Shades is realizing that the gravity drops fast around here {about 20 spots a week}. Today he went 3-0 and jumped 56 rungs up the ladder with his upset victory over EEyore, and moved into 37 |

Today's third star has many wise pieces of advice for anybody that wants to listen. First he suggests that no balls are ever lost when they are hit between the 150 yard pegs. Secondly if you want to improve your score, just dont enter one of the holes. Third - if the driver isn't working, then leave it in the bag. All of the mentions about Tin Cup have to do with Mapper, he sure is entertaining on a course when his drive is all askewed. Despite his bag being a lot lighter, and the water level on 16's pond is a lot higher, he did go undefeated and gained 13 spots in the rankings, and played his fifth straight "C" class score {9th of the last 11 games}. Mapper proved to all in the clubhouse why he has this nickname. |
