 Notables - You have heard about the saying "from the Outhouse to the Penthouse." Well we now have a Slammer version, and you guessed it. It involved Boomer and where he had to take a drop, stand in an outhouse, all while playing his provisional. Then he found his original ball and sitting in the penthouse.
- I am still checking the records, because i don't believe it to be true but apparently, this is the first time that a bogey won a skin. For those of you keeping track at home, so did 6 pars win. The good news is that the two birdies were both good for a skin.
- Nine slammers was enough to make the skins count. Blue has decided that he will accept his 4 (three pars and a bogey) skins.
- Papa Malone jumped 48 spots in the rankings, and JayBird climbed 24 with his upset of Boomer. they were both Honourably Mentioned, and look to the right and see they had the only upsets today!
- Here is hoping that SixGun hears about the Slammies and attends, he will be able to collect his third package from BullDog.

Summary
Much urging, yet we could still only get 9 Slammers out for this event. The day started off a little cool, but at least we were dry. Grumpy wasn't the only one removing clothing as the day grew warmer. The Big winners for the day ended up being the kids. Check their amount today and compare it to other events, with twice as many participants.

The only star today that is not from the Rock. When he was recruited to join the tour, he said that "maybe I wont play skins because I seldom get birds." Well today Blue had four skins, bringing his season total to 8 in 13 events. Check the notables and you will see that he had a rare bogey skin. He entered the event as the highest ranked Slammer, and left it the same way. Blue also had his first dog of the season on hole #11. |

At least his accent is obvious! Reffy showed up today as the top ranked "D" classer, had two guys going after him (including #2 & #6), and a third that could have moved up with an upset. However the day ended, and we still have the same leader of the class. Reffy was undefeated, had a birdie on 12 for a skin, and led the group in providing funny one-liners. After that successful defense, he is seriously considering playing in the EG first ever club championship in the "D". |

Don't ever not include Wilford when you are counting the Newfies, in a group. Or you will hear about it. Not only was he also born on the rock ... "It was long before you, Reffy." Wilford, held off Boomer for only the 2nd time in their 9 match career, went 2-0 with a birdie for skin on hole three. and maintained his 32 ranking. |
