POP: maybe the heat slowed some Slammers down. We were too slow today except for the first group, playing in three carts. There was enough said about which group was slowest. Know who you are and FIX IT please!
One TC match was played today. In the senior division, Hacker hung on for 15 holes, and had one of the ONLY TWO skins, 2 birds and a 10 below average score for his 2nd best ST game this season and was one of our HMs. Another HM went to the victor of that match. ParBreaker finally lived up to his name {albeit from the whites}. Shot the low score (71) of the day, had a dog, and went undefeated to move into 4th. He was challenged at the beginning to get three birds to bring his average up to 2, and was successful. For that he received an HM and the OC received much abuse.
Notable score of PizzaMan, beating his average by 10, and after a rough start to the season, shot his best ST round of the year. Here is hoping that there is a resurfacing of the old Pizza.

Summary
What a glorious day, but that is enough about the weather. This event sold out very quickly, and had many people have to bail BUT there was always somebody awaiting in the wings to take their place. At the first tee, all 24 Slammers were present, where once again the tour showed off to others - how much fun it is. Much good hearted ribbing {of course the usual debates about tee blocks}, and a few of the OCs introductions, included comments/challenges/dares that were accepted and defeated. Chilly and ParBreaker were two of them. Do you know who Cuds is? There were 36 matches today and 18 ended up as an upset. So watch the rankings and remember that this is the last week to qualify for the Commish Cup. Register, challenge accordingly, and keep coming back to see if more events were added.

	Hylands' gain is The Slammer Tour's loss. Akeem isn't playing as often, these days due to his membership there. Today he shot 10 below his average, to upset all three of his opponents. He took down IronMaiden, on the 13th to move from 102nd to 40th in the rankings. Two holes later he defeated Turtle, to jump into 25th, and rounded out the sweep, on 17 when he knocked off X-Tour, to move 81 spots. Team central's capt. Chilly was seen beaming at the 19th.
	BeachBoy
	Slammer Tour's #1 PhotoMaster didn't bring his camera today. He chose instead to concentrate on golfing, much to the chagrine of his three opponents. Shooting only his second career sub 80 round, BeachBoy also upset three {Sutty, Digger & PizzaMan} to move from 65th to 26th. Well done and congrats on your bird on hole #8. Now bring back the camera! Team West capt. Boomerang is wondering where are you?
	DeeWayne
	Another Team Central member. DeeWayne playing in his second round of the day got better! Beat his morning score and didn't let the fact that he was playing two of the Tour's "A" players for the first time ever. He was also up against Hacker who had beat him in their inaugural match. DeeWayne was one of today's leaders, cupping three birdies. He upset Hacker and Malone to jump into the top ten {it was 4th - but many upsets on HOT SUNDAY}.
