Summary
The weather was threatening as we set out on the first hole today at Casselview with strong winds and dark clouds approaching....and by the third hole we had to take a 15 min rain delay. As hard as the downpour was, the skies quickly cleared and the Slammers continued the round with very hot and humid....but dry conditions. Exactly one month from today, Casselview will be the venue for the much anticipated Commish cup. If you haven't put your name in the hat for this fun competitive team event....you must represent!!! A great day on the course for our very own Happy and first star today! Happy wins all his matches going 3-0 with upsets over Hacker, TeeDub and Boomer. With 1 bird and shooting 6 below his scoring average 81, Happy moves up 50+ spots in the Slammer ranks into the top 10! Fantastic! |
