Summary
This group of Slammers doesn't come any tougher! We left our homes this AM...and it was raining. We drove, arrived at the course and set up our gear....and it was raining. Skins and doggie bones were collected, we chatted, warmed up and practice putted......and it was raining. And if you haven't guessed yet, we announced our challenges, teed off, took second shots, third shots, chips, putts and recorded scores and stats....through 18 holes...and it was raining! But we did it and we did it in pretty good form. All for one and one for all, we stuck together and we stuck it out, and it was great!! It truely was. Congrats to Chef for defending the number #1 position today through tough conditions and for anyone who has not followed the run of #1 Slammers this season, Chef was the first Slammer to succesfully defend the #1 spot. Well done everyone!

	Chef was stealth-like dressed all in black...perhaps he was trying to stay under the raidar as he stepped out on the course today to defend that rank that we Slammers covet. Fait accompli! Chef holds on to #1 and takes the first star going 3-0 and defending against Ticklar, DeeJay and ZenGirl. With 1 bird, 1 skin and a doggie, Chef gets 'er done! Fantastic and congrats!
	Hacker
	Hacker was a little disappointed that he could not take on Chef today.....but as quoted on the 19th hole after his round "Taking 15 bones is way better"! Hacker goes 3-0 with defence wins against PizzaMan, Eeyore and Pepilepu and adds 6 points to his stats along with a doggie he popped close on the 8th green, proudly pounded out there with his driver! Excellent!
	Stymie
	This rookie is on a roll and earns our third star today going 3-0 with defence wins over Chuckie and Costanza and with the upset win over PJ moves up 40 + spots in the Slammer ranks. Stymie records the second lowest score on the day and betters his scoring average by 6 strokes. Well done!
