Summary
Another fantastic Canada Day made even better by some Slamming fun at Falcon Ridge. This was the 4th annual July 1st that the Slammers have come out to this venue and it was a sea of red as all 5 groups approached the first tee. And the Snowbirds did not dissappoint as they swept accross the sky as we started out for the day and again one more time on the front 9. As quoted by BearCat on the 2nd green..."How can we putt with THAT going on in the sky above us!". Thanks for a terrific day and Happy Canada Day everyone!

Our #1 went to battle today to defend his rank and what a battle royale it was! Ticklar goes undefeated defending against Ozone and Steamer but it is his match with longtime nemesis (and friend) Chilly that defines the day as they take their match to the 18th....finishing all square in the end. Ticklar becomes the second Slammer this year to defend the #1 rank....but he has no time to rest on his laurels as another big match is set at Marshes tomorrow. Ticklar adds 5 points, 2 birds and 2 skins to his stats today...Congrats! |

Our second star Chilly was part of this epic battle and also takes 5 points going undefeated with the defence wins over Ozone and Steamer and the tie with Ticklar. With 2 birds and shooting the low score of the day and 3 strokes below his average, Chilly takes 1 skin and a doggie. Well done! |
