Summary
There are some opening holes that peak the interest of a Slammer event and eQuinelle number 1 is one of them. With the backdrop of golfers putting on the practice green peeking up to witness the tee offs, the chatter and jabber of Slammers and the introductions of the players onto the tee, Slammer after Slammer considered the classic risk reward calculation on this dog leg left hole over the water. What a wonderful way to start off your Slammer event. The course was in top notch condition, the weather was great and the match play challenging. This is truly one of the gems to play on the Slammer Tour and Slammers tend to take advantage of the conditions by scoring well. The first group finished 18 at a super pace while others were still on the course when the horn sounded. Two groups came in while two took refuge in the shelter off of 16. After 30 minutes of the skies opening up with thunder, lightning and rain, all passed and the remaining 2 groups finished their last couple of holes under clear blue sunny skies. What a way to finish your Slammer round. Wrap up in the clubhouse, discussions on every topic under the sun, banter and laughter, Slammership and a few brewskis to mark the completion of another successful Slammer Tour event.

	The first star goes to Burnsy who has an outstanding round. He goes undefeated successfully defending against TJ, DeeJay and Hacker. On his romp, he takes home 3 skins and a dog. He has 4 birdies, 1 eagle and shoots a 70 – 2 under par and 1 above the course record. Simply outstanding!
	Danger (r)
	Danger takes home 2nd star going undefeated. This D class golfer successfully defends against three challengers from the C class: Flameworker, Kricket and KidsClub. With long drives and help from his irons, Danger posts his 2nd best Slammer score. Excellent!!
	Stevie Ray
	Stevie Ray gets the nod for the 3rd star going 3-0-0 against the Therapist, Mapper and SpoonHead. Solid performance like today is helping this 3rd star into the B class. Great performance!!
