Summary
After a year hiatus from Greensmere, the Slammer Tour happily returns to enjoy one of the nicest courses on the west side of Ottawa. For the return, the Tour played the Premiere course (the original) which has a links style front nine and a more difficult forest sculpted back nine. The Slammers managed to deal with the sprinkling rain for 13 holes when the sprinkles stop. This didn't seem to detract from some good golf and matches since only 3 matches of 30 went beyond the 16th hole to determine winners. Yes and we all remember the birch tree and tractor in the middle of the 17th fairway. Great matches, some personal bests, good golf and an enjoyable 19th hole. The Tour looks forward to playing the new Legacy course the next we are fortunate enough to hold an event at Greensmere. Thanks my fellow Slammers.

WOW! What a round for this Slammer playing in his 6th season. Pingman, the first star, goes undefeated successfully defending against Potter, Stevie Ray, and Billards taking all out by the 14th. This B player breaks the 80 barrier for the second time in his Slammer career with a round of 79 shooting a whopping 11 below his average. Congrats!!
Gauber (r)
Gauber, playing in his 1st Slammer event, gets the hang of the Tour and match play early in his round. This A class player takes out Particle, Bookie and the Game and has 3 birds, 1 dog and 2 skins for the day. Gauber jumps from unranked into the top 40. Welcome to the Tour and a nice way to start you Slammer Tour career. Excellent!!
KaDaver
KaDaver, the third star, continues with his outstanding golf play. He goes 3-0-0 defending against Wilfred, Jelvis and Hacker with a sub 80 score. He has 2 birdies and takes home a dog and a skin. All of this with a sensitive back. Well done!!
