Summary
What does a perfect day and an open golf course in November in Ottawa have in common? Today's Slammertour event of course! With only red and white tee-blocks and the staff panicking for the big rush, they did not allow us to mark blue tees and before the round cautioned us for slow play. The OC offered to substitute white for red tees and blue for white tees today but the Slammers today had none of it - we all played white's except for a our sole Super Senior. Got to like that and we were only held up by the golfers ahead of our pack!

Malone the undeniable first star today and he gets some help from his fellow Slammers too? How? Mapper cuts off 2 of Malone's skins but doesn't play skins, PZ misses a 2 foot putt and Malone collects the skin - that makes 3 skins. His dog had to be doggie-leashed and wins it by inches. 3 skins, 3 wins, 1 dog, 4 birds, and low round of the day Malone is good enough to play from the blue tees next time! |

Ripzone has a couple of matches going to 18 and comes out undefeated. Kind of lame but 3 wins trumps 2 wins and some goodies :) Deserving for 3rd star honors. |

- Best aspects of course: Some A-classers enjoyed the white tee blocks, others enjoyed that the course was open at all. The greens were a tad shaggy, punched the previous week, so quite acceptable for this time of year! Watch for a YouTube video of drainage work on the #4 green.
