Summary
A late season Slammer event with 10 Slammers signing up and 5 bailing before the event closed leaving 5 Slammers to play the event with bad weather forcast. The day of the event 1 Slammer did not show up and 1 Slammer bailed on the 4th green due to heavy rain. That left 3 hardy Slammers to play an event in terrible weather conditions. It rain throughout the entire event and the back nine was played in down pour conditions. By the 16th hole poodles were stating to form in the fairways. The 3 die hard Slammers forged on and completed all 18 holes of the event. Checking with the club house after it ended up that we were the only 3 golfers on the course for the entire day. Congratulations to the 3 Slammers that refuse to quit.
