Summary
Forecast schmorecast! Eleven Slammers headed up the valley to play the ever popular Mountain Creek and she did not disappoint. The best staff, a country kitchen...and a course in the best condition possible. Wow! And even more astonishing was the weather. As quoted on the 19th hole to the staff in the proshop "How DID you get the rain to stop like that?"...The reply was simply: "We turned off the taps". Two holes on the front with a little drizzle...one hole on the back with a steady heavy rain. But that was it. The sun was out late on the back nine and for the umteenth time, the Slammers skirted another bad weather forecast.

GreenReader lived up to his new nickname and made putt after putt to clench all three matches taking down IronMaiden & PizzaMan and defending against Eeyore. With 3 birds that unfortunately were all skinless and a tight doggie on #14, this Slammer propels himself into the top 20 of the Slammer ranks and into 1st stardome. Congrats! |

Rio made his second appearance on the Slammer Tour in as many days and is certainly making a mark for himself as he once again goes undefeated taking 6 points and leap frogging over 500 spots in the Slammer ranks! With 3 birdies good for one skin, Rio has had a great start in the stats. Well done! |
