Summary
While the temperature was on the cool side today the sun was up to take a bit of the edge off. The course, especially for the middle of November, was in fine shape and worthy of today's competition. To top it off Kingsway had both the bartender and the cook on hand as we strolled in from the 18th green. Most welcomed! With the slammer season quickly coming to a close there was lots of jockeying for position today. As well, there was plenty of discussion about the upcoming weekend's events together with the plotting of each slammer's individual strategy. The fun just keeps on coming.

Ladies, is your slammer's golf game as good as "Old Spice's"? Do you wish it was? Yes folks, this slammer could fit right into a 30 second commercial. He started today looking to find a spot in the "A" division top four. Well, mission accomplished! Old Spice cleans up the Puke, goes 3-0, posts one birdie and picks up a bone for good measure. He moves into the #4 spot on the overall ranking chart and garners himself 1st star on the day. |

Anyone who says that a golf ball doesn't carry as far in the cold temperatures of November has never seen this slammer knock the scales off of one. Yes siree, the Dragon was spitting fire today! He goes 3-0 in his matches, tallies three birdies on his score card, which was good enough for two skins, and also walks away with a doggie. Jumping back into the top 10, Dragon earns today's 2nd star honours. |

It was a mixed bag for this slammer today. Looking to get into the top four of the "B" division he played well enough to garner the number two slot. Sadly it was short lived as he plays too good and, posting a sub 85 score, goes from a "B" player to an "A". Life just isn't fair, even if you are Lucky! Going 2-1 on the day he makes two birdies, cashes in on four skins and walks away the third star. |
