Summary
It started out a little chilly and breezy but it warmed up a few holes in and the jackets and sweatshirts came off. The course conditions were really good for late September. Loads of really tough pins today, especially on #16, and the Kids thank the pin setter! Those tough pins were evident with the quality field on hand and only three birdies on par 4's and none on the par 3's. We aren't back on eQuinelle again until October 13th and we can only hope we get similar weather and conditions again that day.

Today's first star didn't get the challenge he wanted but he got the next best thing...three wins! Bugsy takes down Potter on the 13th, Point Zero on the 14th, and Clang on the 17th. He also snagged a Doggie along the way. Rumour has it he will be joining us in Myrtle Beach in February. |

Today's second star was announced on the 1st tee as needing to go 3-0 to get his 25th win in his rookie season. He was up for the challenge going 3-0 taking down Supersy on the 14th, Flyer on the 15th, and Pistol Pete on the 17th. No birdies, no Doggies, and no Skins, NO PROBLEM! Three wins against formidable opponents and managing to rise to the challenge on the 1st tee is more than worth the 2nd star nod! |

Another tidy round for our #1 ranked Slammer. McGoop successfully defends his #1 rank against Stevie Ray on the 12th and Rocco on the 13th. He breezed through the course at even par with three birdies, a Doggie, and two Skins. Can he hold down #1 through the end of the season? Malone may have something to say about that in their TC Open Final next Tuesday at Stonebridge! Circle that one on the calendar! |
