Summary
It is that time of year again. The annual fall getaway to the beautiful mountainous multi coloured leafy Smuggler's Glen. For the sixth year in a row the Executive Golf getaway, has a Slammer event. This year twenty eight Slammers are dressed and ready to play on a warm sunny day. ShortStack & Swanny were seen setting up the course. Iron Maiden unloaded pumpkins. ZenGirl wasn’t the last to arrive and everybody was ready, so off we went. EARLY – fifteen minutes prior to shotgun and the carts were heading down their various paths.

Lil Muffin (r)
Tenth event for this rookie Slammer. First time at Smugglers. She goes 3-0. First victim to fall was Bainsey 8 and 7, Second successful defence was versus Dyke 7 and 6. Rulz was the hand shaker one hole later. All three Slammers are now 0-1 career against LilMuffin. For her second event in a row, she wins the most (78) bones for her two dogs and skin. She also had two birdies today. Enjoy your Slammer top and Callaway hat.

Ho Hum. Third year in a row that Primo is a star on Smuggler’s Saturday. This time he moves up a notch as second star, after two straight third star showings. Today he beats Corporal for the eighth time (and one draw). He does it today 3 and 1. In fact he also upset Duke (#63) and PizzaMan (#26) on the same hole. His bogey beat all three of their doubles. He moves up 220 rungs on the Slammer ladder. Enjoy your Slammer top and Callaway hat.
Corporal
Corporal, like his roommate, and Ottawa Sun Scramble partner also upset Duke and PizzaMan, His birdie on 15 was good enough for his first career skin. He started the day as #315.
