 Notables - Notable ONE … second straight day, Gator putts from the fringe for a birdie on hole #2, and both times he collects a skin. Forty bones on one hole. Actually it is his third straight skin on the hole {Sunday October 14, 2012}, he also had the birdie skin. The day before? He had a six!
- Notable TWO … you may have to ask one of those young kids like Lil Muffin or ShortStack. Maybe those other young ones that are a little older may also know. What is a yard sale? Grumpy, for the second day in a row and on the same hole {four}, had a yard sale as he chased his run away cart, tumbled and jumped up to continue the chase. For those of you that got to see it twice (others said once was enough), you are welcome.
- Notable THREE … MsDemeanor has her first win, but hurdles over four other Slammers playing today. One of the risks when you play with the same foursome – is that there is nowhere to move up.
- Notable FOUR … Kaki beats RipZone,
- Notable FIVE … Culligan Water dogs were worth 31 bones. Juice (#8), LilMuffin (10), PizzaMan (16), and the Tour’s leader GoTee {#2 & #5), each won. What about them? Well Pepperoni boy was the only Slammer to win a dog on BOTH days. GoTee gets to be the leader because some OC 3 jacked from 8 feet.

Summary
Day two. Card game winners from last night? Well surprise surprise surprise. Third year in a row that Primo wins a star on Saturday, then fills his wallet after dinner. No Sens game on tv – they already lost in the afternoon. An eighth group gets added to today’s event, and finally Ms Demeanor plays her first event. She has been thinking about joining the Tour for at least three years. One missing body this morning, as Bainsey headed back to the Nations’ Capital to see his son’s soccer game. There is a new dwarf added to the Tour’s roster. Road Angel has a name change to Bashful. Third day in a row {remember that we have a Slammer event on our way to Smuggler’s at Brockville}, that there are weather issues at home. For the third straight day – no umbrella is opened. Not a drop! It did rain all night, causing us to have cart path only rules for our Sunday event.

One of the quotes that I am hearing most often this season, from the guy that tied the lead with 4 eagles last year, is “I SO SUCK!” Today he went out to take on three Slammettes in the top ten. How did he do? He was undefeated with a 2-0-1 record. He goes home as the #6 Slammer but arrives in town to see that he already dropped three steps on the ladder to #9. They started off on the fifteenth hole. His first upset was his seventh straight win over Juice {now 7-0). He beat her 7 and 5. He and chill were playing their rubber match. They were at 1-1-1 career and all square after 17 holes. Her bogey on the final hole (#14) couldn’t match Swanny’s par and his upset to top Slammer at the Glen. That par also enabled him to win the last hole and cause a draw with Iron Maiden. That draw prevented them from being 2-2 career. Enjoy your $25 gift certificate at Lone Star. |

Dyke upset Duke 8 and 6, moving up the ladder 142 steps. For only the 4th time in 15 attempts, he beat Rulz 6 and 4, avenging yesterday’s loss. His double on the final hole cost him a sweep when he and Lil Muffin tied. See the last quote on the left, as he has played her two days in a row and yet to win. Second day in a row that RW went 3-0. second day in a row he did it whilst doubling up as Doggy Master. Today he does it with a BIG upset. He takes down Turtle and moves from #77 to #41, This is his first victory against Turtle and he also beat BearCat for the second straight time. Bashful let him win again.
