Notable #2 - Point Zero hits a tree off his drive on the par 5 18th hole and still makes Birdie! T-Bone cut him off for good measure.

Cuba x2 (birdies on #4 and #12), T-Bone (par #2), Point Zero (Birdie #11), Number 7 (Par - #13), and Ticklar (Par - #16). Thanks goes to T-Bone for mastering the skins. Culligan Water Doggie Report: Four par 3's but only three were hit. The 13th hole lay vacant. Ticklar (#5 @ 6'), Point Zero (#7 @ 16'), and Number 7 (17 @ 12'). Each were worth $13 with $1 to the kids. Thanks goes to T-Bone for mastering the Doggies. It was probably the best Doggie Report all season!

Summary
Not a bad day at Metcalf. The weatherman predicted possible rain and although it did rain, these two groups were well off the course before the skies opened up. Course conditions are starting to see fall wear and the apples were falling to the ground but it was still pretty fun. The leaf rule is in effect soon and I am sure a few Slammers wish it had come earlier...or maybe an apple rule? EG Club Championships this week. I know everyone is gearing up for it. Let's hope for good weather and solid competition!

In a tightly contested set of matches where five of the six were settled on the 18th hole, Point Zero came out with an even record of 1-1-1. Along the way he managed two birdies with one doggie and one skin. Great effort today. |

Cuba |

The man that went 3-0 in that tough grouping takes today's 2nd star. It is true that Cuba won all of his matches in impressive fashion but the coin toss did not go his way today. Sad. His two birdies and a skin matched the first star but Cuba came up short with the lack of doggies. Regardless, a great day in a tough group. |
