Summary
Wow ! All kinds of Slammin' fun today with five full groups making their way to Manderley just south of the City to kick off the long weekend a little early. Slammers seem to be slipping into ballistic mode already as the final run for number one is fast approaching. Within the five groups six Slammers were ranked in the top 20 and of the five leaders that were handed a Group Summary sheet, not one of them had to complete it by the end of the round. This should be an interesting Thanksgiving weekend with lots of movement in the ranks. Six events on the schedule and #1 McGoop is playing three events. Have fun everyone and eat lots of turkey !

Can you feel the Burn? Well FingZ, Birdman and Pearls certainly did as Burnsy was a Disco inferno defending and upsetting to move into the top 20 of the Slammer ranks. Four birdies were circled on his card today but the story behind one of those birds is that he drove the green on #8 Central to 6ft ... but missed the eagle putt and had to settle for the bird which apparently was good enough as it held up for the skin. Two additional skins and a doggie cap off a pretty good day for this Slammer who filled the last spot on the roster at the last minute. Burn Baby Burn ! |

There is no denying that Ace earns our second star honors today recording the upsets against all in his foursome...first taking down JMoney (6&5) then Gru (6&4) and finally Juice (3&2). Nothing fancy, just some super steady play. A solid 3-0 day. And let's not omit that little interesting fact that he is now ranked #3 ! Stellar! |

Birdman was Hoppin' and a-boppin' and a-singin' his song all the way to the 19th hole today as this Slammer moves from 111 to 16th in the Slammer ranks taking down FingZ and Pearls and only dropping two points to Burnsy. A Birdman birdie holds up for the skin and a doggie cap off a great day. Well done ! |
